African Leadership for Public health & Humanitarian Actions (ALPHA) is a global public health humanitarian nonprofit organization headquartered in Senegal with two satellite nonprofits for fundraising, advocacy and partnership liaison in the United States and the Netherlands.

By 2029, we aim to be a pioneering nonprofit public health organization, dedicated to enhancing the resilience of health systems in Africa through innovative and sustainable community-based approaches.

Our mission is to lead the charge in preventing, detecting, and responding to health crises across the continent. Rooted in innovation and driven by local solutions, we collaborate with governments, organizations, and individuals to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all.

Strategic Priorities

Respond: Deliver immediate public health actions and life-saving health services during acute emergencies.
Restore: Ensure the continuity of essential health services in fragile, conflict affected, and complex operating environments.
Build: Construct a resilient health system and strengthen preparedness and coordination efforts in alignment with the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005 requirements.
